Las Vegas Christmas….. in February??!!
Yes yes, I know what you’re probably thinking. Why are you putting Christmas pictures in your blog when it’s almost March? Are we not in inundated enough with Christmas that we need to look at it here too? And maybe, why on a Saturday night at 3am or so, are you goofing around with Christmas pictures…..
Good questions all. For one. Because Amber told me too, that’s why! I have been procrastinating, and it caught up with me. Secondly, because if you don’t live here, or if your a crazy member of my family, maybe you’ll find it interesting? The last one. I don’t know. I have insomnia tonight, woke up in the middle of the night. Didn’t want to wake Amber up trying to beat her stupid Ms. Pacman score (are we the only doofus(s) still playing that?) and so I figured I’d sneak the pics in and be gone before any of you knew I was here..lol
That said.. I broke em up into two batches for those interested.
The first set are primarily from the Bellagio Christmas display. Its very cool that they do this stuff. Different themes in their gardens, all kinds of eccentric garden arrangements to go look at. THAT said, DO NOT get the thought running through your head like I did. The one that said… Hey… I’m working Christmas Eve, I got off at 5… Who could POSSIBLY be looking at a CASINO Christmas light display on Christmas EVE? Everyone should be home with their families… This will be the BEST time to go. Sure… Take a look at the first batch of photos.. then go during the first week of December… haha. The rest of the set (and probably the majority) are from the Sunset Park light display. They do not do proper justice to how awesome that display really is. It costs a few bucks to drive through, but it was so worth it!
The second batch was from Ethel M chocolate factories’ light display. Can you dig the fact that someone has to actually string lights around the cacti? My proverbial hat is off to you employees and our thanks. It is without a doubt one of the top spots to visit at Christmas. Doesn’t cost a thing, and late at night, it was practically deserted!
As always….
A few pictures to preview… and…. Photo Batch 1 is HERE…. and…. Photo Batch 2 is HERE
